3 Dodgers Among Players With Shortest Odds to Win 2024 NL MVP

The Los Angeles Dodgers are coming into the 2024 season with immense expectations. The Boys in Blue will vye for title No. 8 eight this year, and they appear to have everything they need to get the job done.
The Dodgers have dominated the regular season for the better part of the last decade, and another dominant regular season could set up some of their top players for individual accolades. The Dodgers have the stars to potentially win a National League MVP this upcoming season, and the odds are demonstrating just that.
The trio of Mookie Betts, Freddie Freeman, and new Dodger superstar Shohei Ohtani are among the top six players with the best odds to win the 2024 NL MVP award.

Betts leads the trio with the second-best overall odds at +650. Two-way superstar Ohtani has the third-best odds at +900, and Freddie Freeman is sixth, tied with Phillies superstar Bryce Harper and Padres superstar Fernando Tatis Jr., at +1200, according to BetMGM.
As teammates in 2023, Freeman and Betts had arguably the best seasons of their careers. Betts recorded a .987 OPS, his most since his 2018 MVP season with the Boston Red Sox. As for Freeman, he recorded 59 doubles, the most in his career and one shy of joining elite company in the 60-double club.
There's no reason for this duo to slow down, especially after adding a talent like Ohtani next to them in the lineup.
Ohtani is coming off an MVP season of his own, and for the first time since 2020, will only be focused on hitting. Expect him to have another dominant offensive season, and expect the Dodgers' superstar trio to be in play for the MVP all year long.
