Dodgers Fans React to New Spring Training Hat for 2023

Remember last year's Dodgers spring training mesh hats that you didn't like? Good news! They're back, except with more Giants colors!

We know times are tough, but guess what, Dodgers fans? You can get a mesh LA hat with a big patch on the side in Giants orange for just $46! What a bargain!

The new spring training hats for 2023 were released this week, and Dodgers Nation asked fans what they think of this year's Cactus League cap design.

Most of the reactions fell into one (or more) of three categories:

1. "Mesh hats again? What year is it?"

2. "What's the deal with the orange?"

3. "Wait, it costs how much?"

The results are in, Major League Baseball, and you dropped the ball on these ones. The mesh look didn't see extremely popular in 2022, so apparently MLB thought we just needed more time to get used to it. More orange should do the trick!

The reviews weren't all bad, of course.

Oh, wait, yes they were. I assumed if I kept scrolling I'd find someone who was happy with it, but the best I could get was a couple people who didn't hate everything about it.

If you're bald, be sure to apply sunscreen before you put on your hat. What's that, you say? You wear a hat so you don't have to worry about the sun? A traditional Dodgers hat for you, then!

Maybe if no one buys these, MLB will realize they botched it and do better next year.
