Dodgers News: Another Bullpen Arm Could Be Heading to the Injured List
The Dodgers' injured list is starting to look like a math problem, where the function of a player leaving the IL equals another player joining it.
With Julio Urias set to make his return from the IL against the Pirates on Thursday evening, this is starting to become a reality, as Dodgers Manager, Dave Roberts, has announced that Brusdar Graterol could see some time sidelined after experiencing some arm issues in the past few days.
Graterol has stepped up as a true veteran during the Dodger Bullpen's slump in June, so for him to possibly take a pause on his leadership role is nothing short of a bummer.
If he does end up on the IL, he will be replaced by RHP, Landon Knack, as he is currently on his way to Los Angeles in case this decision is made. Knack has been spending most of his season with the Dodgers Triple-A and Rangers Double-A ball clubs.
If a move to the Injury List is necessary for Graterol, Knack could see his first pitch in the Majors being thrown very soon.
There are still a lot of physical rests being run for Graterol to see if the reliever will be available to play or if a move to the IL is optimal.
As soon as we hear about anything for Brusdar Graterol's Injury status, we will have it right for you on Inside The Dodgers.com!
