In this story:

After getting swept against the San Francisco Giants, it hasn't been the best time to be a Dodger, but it's always a good time when you are a father. Dodgers Utility player, Chris Taylor, has just announced with his wife, Mary, that they are expecting their first child.

The Dodger couple announced on Instagram, with the caption, "Happy Father's Day to this soon to be dad!"

It's been kind of a trend with the Dodgers, as Chris Taylor is one of many players on the Dodgers who is either a father or soon-to-be father.

"I think everyone had a great all-star break."

Dodgers Manager, Dave Roberts, is used to having that pre-season meeting where he congratulates all the players who had a baby or announced that they are expecting before starting practice, but this offseason, that meeting went longer than expected.

Chris Taylor joins the likes of Max Muncy, Mookie Betts and Evan Phillips as Dodger players that have welcomed a baby Dodger into the world, this season.

As the boys in blue continue to face struggles, it's always good to remember there are things that come outside of baseball, and maybe a little time with their dearest ones will set the boys straight.

With that, I hope everyone had a fantastic Father's Day, and hopefully, the baby boom helps out with the bats, and just maybe, we have some future Dodgers in our hands.
