Dodgers News: Clayton Kershaw Atop AI-Generated Best Of List

Even Skynet understands how good Kersh is.

The age-defying Clayton Kershaw makes his 8th start of the season today in Milwaukee. It's insane to think that Dodgers fans and baseball fans have been able to watch this living legend produce at such a high clip for 16 seasons now.

Over the last nearly two decades of Major League Baseball, it would be hard to find someone that has done it as well as Kersh has for as long as he has. And, if we're specifically looking at pitchers since the year 2000, the AI "Chat GPT" believes there is no one better.

Have there been pitchers more dominant than Clayton Kershaw over the last 23 years? Absolutely. Have there been any that have pitched longer than he has? Sure. But, since the year 2000, you can't find anyone that has done what the future Hall of Famer has.

He's made at least 21 starts in each non 60 game season since making his debut. He just passed the 400 start threshold and 200 career wins threshold this season and is quickly approaching the 3,000 strikeout mark.

The way the modern game is played now, we might never see any of those numbers posted again.

Clayton has been the ultimate blend of dominant and consistent, even with a few unhealthy years mixed in along the way. His 2.48 career ERA is the best among active pitchers with as many miles as he has on his arm and, thankfully, it doesn't look like it's going to stop any time soon.
