The All-Star break is finished and the Dodgers are ready to get the second half of the season going, but not without some help first.

The Dodgers have announced that they have made a deal with the Milwaukee Brewers to acquire RHP, Tyson Miller.

Los Angeles exchanged some cash for Miller, and in order for the Dodgers to have enough room on their 40-man roster, they have added RHP, Daniel Hudson, to the 60-day Injured List.

Currently assigned to the minors, the 27-year-old out of Fairfield, California has only made seven appearances for the Brewers this year, having only 9.1 innings pitched and a 5.79 ERA.

The Miller pickup shouldn't be much more than a minor league depth piece and less of someone that will fill the loss of Daniel Hudson.

After coming off his third appearance from his first trip to the IL, Hudson suffered an MCL Sprain against the Pirates before the All-Star break. An injury that is forcing him to miss at least two months, and could possibly keep him sidelined for the rest of the year.

The Dodgers still have some decisions to make in terms of possibly bolstering their clubhouse for a strong push towards the NL West Pennant, and now with some cash in hand, what exactly can they do.

The Boys in Blue have recently optioned second baseman, Miguel Vargas, to the minors. Along with the bullpen, they could use the August 1st trade deadline for some upgrades.
