Dodgers News: Dave Roberts Looks to Put Arizona Series in Rear View Mirror

The Dodgers lost their first series of the year with the Arizona Diamondbacks taking 3 of 4 in the desert this past weekend. Outside of Dustin May and 5 out of 6 innings for Clayton Kershaw, the LA pitching was overwhelming disappointing
Dodger pitching allowed 43 hits, 29 runs, 4 home runs, and 8 of 8 stolen bases to boot.
After Sunday afternoon's game, Dave Roberts didn't have much to say. He was just ready to move past the series.
“We’ve just got to wash this series because it wasn’t good.”
Of course, he added some optimism.
“I believe that these guys are going to turn things around, figure it out. But it’s hard to kind of overanalyze what we did today, or these last couple of games, with run prevention. We just didn’t pitch well.”
Everything that could go wrong went wrong for Dodger pitching. So much so you wonder about going back and listening for the sound of trash cans getting wailed on. But, for better or worse, this is what the Dodgers have right now. There's no reliever in shining armor waiting down at Triple-A. And two times through the order in the starting rotation isn't enough to consider any changes.
One thing that wouldn't be overly shocking is if the team considered calling up some relief reinforcements for the series in San Francisco. Less for a boost of some ace reliever but more of a fresh arm for a bullpen that threw a lot of pitches in Arizona.
