The Los Angele Dodgers continue to make moves ahead of next week's trade deadline as they have completed a trade with the Cleveland Guardians to acquire shortstop, Amed Rosario.

Reported by Jeff Passan, the decision to go for Rosario helps the Dodgers out immensely as they were in dire need of right-handed batters who are good against left-handed pitchers.

Rosario, who was a top prospect for the Mets at one point, wraps up two and a half seasons with the Guardians. This year's he's hit three home runs, 40 RBIs and has a .265 batting average and a .675 OPS.

The Dodgers seemed to have picked up Rosario at a good time as he has a bit of momentum, hitting .304 BA/.826 OPS/ 7 RBIs in the last seven days. His hitting against lefties seems to make him an even greater fit for the Dodgers (.303 BA/.345 OBP/.822 OPS)

There isn't any news of what the Dodgers have given up for Rosario just yet, but the deal is pending on some medical reviews that is being done in Cleveland

LA has been dealing with some lack of depth within the infield, specifically at second base and shortstop, due to the injury of Gavin Lux and option of Miguel Vargas back to the minors.

The Boys in Blue started their trade frenzy this week by bringing back super utility man, Kiké Hernandez, from the Boston Red Sox.

And now the addition of Amed Rosario adds some much needed depth to the Dodgers infield.

Will LA go for anyone else in the trade market? Hopefully they turn to some pitchers next!
