Dodgers News: Max Muncy Says LA Has Already Moved on From Embarrassing Game 1 Loss
Arizona rudely greeted the Dodgers in their playoff opener with an 11-2 road victory that realistically felt over by the top of the first inning.
LA refused to let the poor showing affect their mentality headed into game 2 and Max Muncy's pregame comments only went to confirm such a message.
The most important message we could spread is it's over. The other night was just one game. You don't win or lose the series in one game until it's winner take all. So for us, obviously it was a really bad game and it sucked and it wasn't very fun being out there. But at the same time it doesn't matter how many runs they score; it's only one loss or one win. So for us it's over. We'll go out there and try to execute our game plan. And that's all there is to it."

Both the Dodgers' pitching staff and their hitting core failed to gain much traction against their division rival in their initial game of the 2023 postseason.
Merrill Kelly defeated his prior demons against the Dodgers by silencing LA over his 6.1 innings of shutout baseball in a dominant performance.
Clayton Kershaw failed to live up to expectations after he couldn't get even two outs in the first inning.
Hard hits and poor location sent LA's lefty to the dugout before the team got a chance to bat and when they did, the results weren't pretty.
Kelly got chased in the seventh inning but Arizona handily won the game by that point of the evening as the Dodgers got a two-run triple by Will Smith in the eighth for the final tally of 11-2.
Bobby Miller took the hill for LA in Game 2 but didn't emulate Muncy's mentality early in the must-win game at Chavez Ravine.
The Dodgers are in danger of falling behind 2-0 in the series.
