Dodgers News: Miguel Rojas Appreciates Unselfish Approach from LA Offense
As the Dodgers keep moving along in their season, they are seeing contributions from almost everyone on the roster. It’s a testament to the roster construction and shows that the organization has a strong culture built within.
LA has found multiple ways to win games this season, and it has led to them having a nice-sized lead in the NL West division race.
The team recently swept the rival Colorado Rockies over a four-game series by winning in different ways. It was a total team effort, and shortstop Miguel Rojas spoke about it after their win Sunday.
“As a team, we’ve been playing really good,” Rojas said. “Unselfish approach at the plate. A lot of guys get on base different ways ― base hits, walks ― everybody fighting for the opportunity and for the rally. That’s why I was able to drive in four runs today. I had people on base.”

Rojas has struggled at the plate this season, but he was able to drive in four runs on Sunday. He was a big part of why the Dodgers won the game, and he isn’t taking being a part of this team for granted.
The veteran infielder set the tone early for LA with his bat. Starter Julio Urias then finished the job off, going seven innings of work and allowing just three runs.
“When they gave me a lead, I was just able to go out there and maintain it and not allow them to score any more runs,” Urías said in Spanish.

It was a complete game by LA and showed that they are clicking right now. They are on the longest active win streak in baseball and currently hold the third-best record in the league.
They will be welcoming two potential playoff teams to Dodger Stadium this week in what will be a nice test for the team. The Milwaukee Brewers and Miami Marlins come to town ready to try and halt the Dodgers winning ways.
Both teams present different challenges, but the Dodgers have faced adversity all season. Hopefully, LA can keep things going strong and have another successful week.
