Dodgers News: MLB Hall of Famer Has Full Confidence in LA Bouncing Back in NLDS

The season is on the line.

Many Dodgers fans may be panicked over their embarrassing Game 1 loss to Arizona as the team remains focused on tying the series back up in Game 2.

The team's confidence in each other and their resilience will surely be put to the test but one analyst and Hall of Famer believes there's no need to worry in LA.

"I don't think it's time to worry for them. Look, what happened to Clayton last night, we've all struggled. I wouldn't dig too deep into it. I'm sure he's looking forward to being back on the mound again. But whether you lose 13-2 or 3-2, it's a loss. You've got to turn the page. Dave Roberts is their manager. You've got Mookie, you've got Freddie, you have some veterans over there. And you have to be able to take the good with the bad, turn the page and you hope you get a good starting pitching job tomorrow night for them. But I wouldn't be too concerned with it just yet."

LA saw just last season what a divisional Wild Card opponent could do to a 100-win division title roster as the Padres dismantled the Dodgers 3-1 in the 2022 NLDS.

Deja vu could set in at Chavez Ravine if the Dodgers are unable to win Game 2 — and such a result depends heavily on Bobby Miller.

The rookie sensation proved worthy of a postseason start as many of his teammates in the Dodger rotation failed to finish the season due to both injury and other concerns.

Kershaw's poor start got the team off on the wrong foot but the Dodgers' bats aren't blameless for their Game 1 loss after just two runs plated.

Derek Jeter's confidence in the team is an encouraging sign but it'll be up to Dave Roberts' men to make good on that promise.
