The Dodgers have had enough lower leg injuries injuries already this spring.

Some less than great news out of Camelback Ranch early on Monday morning. It appears that All-Star right-handed pitcher Tony Gonsolin has injured his left ankle during camp drills.

Doug Padilla of the OC Register was among those to report the incident.

Gonsolin has struggled with the injury bug over his career but has usually managed to stay healthy during the spring. The hope is that this is just a minor setback but the jury is still out on the severity of the injury.

The Cat Man has made one start so far this spring, tossing 2.1 clean innings against the Angels last Friday. He pitched around traffic (3 hits, 2 walks) but said after the game he felt good about where his pitches were at this time.

More to come on this story.
