Dodgers News: Surgery for LA Outfielder, Lance Lynn Update, D-Backs Headed to WS
As the World Series matchup is finalized, we are reminded that the Dodgers will, once again, not be making an appearance.
With Corey Seager on the Rangers, and the Diamondbacks fresh off of a sweep of the Boys in Blue in the NLDS, the Dodgers will be watching from their couches like the rest of us.
In news involving still current Dodgers (as players don't become free agents until after the World Series), outfielder David Peralta announced on Instagram that he had undergone surgery on his left elbow.
There was no word as to what procedure was performed.
In other news and in preparation for next season, the Dodgers are seemingly on the fence about whether to bring back Lance Lynn, with conflicting reports swirling on the rumor mill. Starting pitching proved to be a critical downfall of the Dodgers' postseason failure but the club might want to pivot to someone that didn't give up as many home runs as Shohei Ohtani hit in 2023.
