Here's everything you need to know about the Dodgers' upcoming fight in the divisional round.

The first two games of the series will be played in Dodger Stadium and the third in Arizona. If necessary, the fourth will be in Arizona and the fifth in Los Angeles.

This series schedule is as follows:

  • Game 1: Saturday, October 7
  • Game 2: Monday, October 9
  • Game 3: Wednesday, October 11
  • Game 4: Thursday, October 12*
  • Game 5: Saturday, October 14*

*= if necessary

All five games will be broadcast and streamed on TBS.

Players to Watch

Dodgers ace Clayton Kershaw is set to start for the first game against Arizona. Right-handed pitcher Merrill Kelly will likely be the starting pitcher Saturday. Zac Gellen could pitch Sunday depending on the Diamondbacks' plan for the ace to rest in the postseason.

On the offensive side, Mookie Betts and Freddie Freeman have both proved that they are two of the best hitters in baseball this season, both contending for MVP honors.

On the season, Betts is just 1-of-9 against Kelly with two walks while Freeman hasn't fared much better, going 2-for-11.

Diamondback left fielder Corbin Carroll will be the 2023 NL Rookie of the Year after a dominant first season in the league. Carroll took Kershaw yard twice in their only matchup, going 4-for-7 at the plate.

Head-to-Head

The Dodgers took the season series eight games to five against the Diamondbacks, winning their last five in early and late August.
