Dodgers Notes: Blake Snell Dominates LA and Praises Clayton Kershaw, Joe Kelly Returns, Walker Buehler Breaks Silence
It was a tough day at the ballpark for the Los Angeles Dodgers on Wednesday as they fell to the San Diego Padres 6-1 in large part due to six shutout innings from Padres ace Blake Snell.
In other news, Snell had very high praise for Dodgers pitcher Clayton Kershaw, calling the ability to watch the future Hall of Famer a "blessing."
Also, relief pitcher Joe Kelly returned after a month-long stint on the injured list due to right forearm inflammation. Although he didn't perform well in his trip back to an MLB mound -- giving up two runs on two hits and two walks in just 2/3rds of an inning -- the fact that Kelly's back before the postseason is good news for a Dodger bullpen in much need of depth.
