The Los Angeles Dodgers are back home after a rough six-game road trip that saw them go 2-4. They're definitely happy to be back at Dodger Stadium, somewhere they've gone 20-10 at in 30 games this season.

The Chicago White Sox are in town for a midweek three-game set, and they're looking to get back on track after losing two of three to the Miami Marlins this weekend.

The Dodgers are sending RHP Tony Gonsolin to the mound, and will be very glad to have a true starter coming off their bullpen game on Sunday. Gonsolin will be facing RHP Lance Lynn of the White Sox, who's endured by far the worst year of his career thus far.

Here's everything you need to know about the two pitchers this season:

And here's the lineup the Dodgers are sending out against the right-handed Lynn, courtesy of Dodgers Nation on Twitter:

Max Muncy is out of the lineup despite the righty Lynn being on the mound. He's struggled mightily as of late, currently in the midst of an 0-for-15 slump. However, his struggles aren't the reason he's out.

Before the game, Dodgers manager Dave Roberts revealed that Muncy is dealing with a hamstring strain, one he endured trying to leg out a double play in Sunday's loss to the Phillies. Roberts said that Muncy will undergo an MRI on Wednesday, and will be out of the lineup until Thursday at the earliest. Jack Harris of the LA Times was among those to report on the news.

The Dodgers will have to play without Muncy for now, but their offense should be able to pick up the slack, as they enter Tuesday as one of the best hitting teams in the league. On the other side of things, though, they enter Tuesday as one of the worst pitching teams in the league. Here's all the stats you need to know:

First pitch for Tuesday's game is at 7:10 p.m. PT. The Dodgers will be looking to continue their home dominance, and get back to their winning ways against the lowly White Sox.

Most importantly, though, they'll hope for good news on Muncy.
