Dodgers President Confirms LA Isn't Done Making Moves After Yoshinobu Yamamoto Signing
The Los Angeles Dodgers have had one of the most significant offseasons any MLB team can have.
L.A. signed arguably the most coveted free agent of all time, Shohei Ohtani, and then signed highly-touted ace from Japan, Yoshinobu Yamamoto. Oh, they also traded for a complete stud on the mound in Tyler Glasnow, and then extended him for the next five seasons. Any questions the Dodgers had about their starting pitching are non-existent now.
The Dodgers could relax, and prepare for a season in which they have championship aspirations now. However, that's not the approach the team will take, at least according to Dodgers president and CEO Stan Kasten. Kasten told SportsNet LA's Kirsten Watson that the Dodgers will continue to look to improve the roster.
The Dodgers are getting greedy, and that's exactly the mentality they should have. L.A. has experienced some success that more than half of MLB teams could only dream of; however, that's not enough in Los Angeles. The front office realizes that one title in 34 years is unacceptable.
The Dodgers are doing all they can to best equip this team to win World Series titles. One is not enough, heck, two might not even be enough. The Boys in Blue are all in, just how they should be. It's great to hear more is to come surrounding this team as they search for title No. 8 in 2024.
This is only the beginning, Dodger fans. Buckle up for a thrilling season. It's championship or bust from here on out.
