In this story:

Dodgers starting shortstop Miguel Rojas was forced to leave Wednesday's game against the Giants in the 4th inning. Rojas hit an infield single off of Giants RHP Alex Cobb's leg, but came up gimpy as he got to first base. He instantly started stretching his leg, which made it look like a cramp.

However, Rojas was removed from the game, which brought some worry into the lives of Dodger fans. But, it didn't take long for the Dodgers to provide an update on Rojas and, fortunately, they confirmed what we expected.

Rojas did, in fact, leave the game with a left hamstring cramp, which should mean he'll be good to go come the team's next game on Friday (the Dodgers have a day off on Thursday).

It appeared the Dodgers removed Rojas from the game for precautionary reasons, as he couldn't get the cramp to stop after stretching it and drinking water.

Fortunately, the Dodgers had Chris Taylor ready to step in and play shortstop, and he held it down nicely for the remainder of the game.

We'll continue to update you when we know more on Rojas' status, but if it's just a cramp, there's no reason he should miss any time.

However, this is Rojas' second time battling a cramp since spring training, so it should be something the team tries to hone in on so it doesn't happen again.

Keep drinking water, Miguel!
