Dodgers Recap: Julio Urias Struggles as Bats Can't Solve Max Fried, Lose Another to Braves
Friday night... was every bit of a stinker for the Dodgers. The Braves outpowered the Los Angeles ballclub early and often, putting up 6 runs against Julio Urias in 5 innings. On the other side of the ball, Atlanta starter Max Fried kept the LA bats off balance, not allowing a hit until the 3rd inning.
Julio's line could have been a little worse if he didn't catch Eddie Rosario trying to steal home. Ultimately, it's back to back bad starts for the left-hander.
Good start or not, the Dodger could not figure out Fried on Friday night, getting just 3 hits and 2 walks off the All-Star hurler.
The Dodgers made it interesting in the bottom of the 8th inning, with September call up Kolten Wong hitting a 3-run home run to make it 6-3.
However, Chris Taylor struck out swinging to end the 8th, and LA went quiet in the 9th en route to a 6-3 loss.
