The Dodgers lost to the Marlins on Wednesday, 11-4, and have already dropped the series with Thursday's finale looming.

The offense went silent until the ninth inning, as Lance Lynn struggled mightily for his second consecutive start.

Here's all the highlights:

With one out in the first inning, Freddie Freeman walked, but the Dodgers wasted the scoring opportunity. To open the second, David Peralta had an infield single and Jason Heyward singled, but the Dodgers couldn’t capitalize on the opportunity. With two outs in the third, Freeman walked but was stranded.

In the fourth, Jason Heyward finally got the scoring going with a home run, but that would be the only score of the game for LA until it was already well out of reach in the top of the ninth. He crushed the ball 424 feet to right field.

Lance Lynn pitched well in the first, second and third, before struggling in the fourth. To open the fourth, Max Muncy committed an error and then Jazz Chisholm had a bunt single. Lynn then issued a walk to load the bases. However, Heyward made a remarkable catch to end the fourth.

After that, it was all Marlins.

In the fifth, Lynn gave up a 2-run homer, a 3-run homer and a solo home run.

With two outs in the fifth, Victor Gonzalez relieved Lynn and allowed an RBI single. Gus Varland would allow two more runs to get the Marlins to 11.

In the top of the ninth, the Dodgers scored three, punctuated by a James Outman 2-run home run. Hopefully that wakes the offense up for Thursday's series finale.
