In this story:

Dodgers RHP Dustin May has exited Wednesday's start against the Minnesota Twins after just one inning.

May was dealing with right elbow pain, according to the Dodgers, which is the last thing anyone wants to hear.

His velocity was down multiple ticks in the first inning, which definitely had some people concerned.

May returned last August from Tommy John surgery on that same right elbow.

Here's a look at May inside the Dodgers dugout before going back to the clubhouse:

We'll continue to update you on this story when we know more. But for now, May is out of the game and dealing with right elbow pain.

On the year, May has been great, sporting a 2.63 ERA in 48 innings pitched.

He's been replaced in the game by RHP Dylan Covey, who was officially added to the Dodgers active roster on Wednesday.

The Dodgers will need a big outing from him to save the bullpen from another grueling game. Let's hope he can give them some length.

Most importantly, though, we're wishing the best to May. This is the last thing anyone wants to see.
