On August 3 this year, fans will have a chance to celebrate the 35th anniversary of the 1988 Dodgers championship in a special way. The team announced a new all-access way to celebrate the milestone but it will cost fans a pretty penny.

For $2,500, you can partake in the All-Access celebration. Within that price, you get a ticket to the game against the Oakland Athletics but you can watch it in a suite with legends Steve Sax and Mickey Hatcher from the championship team. The ticket includes parking, food and beverages as well.

It also will allow fans a private photo opportunity with the 1988 World Series Trophy and a pregame field visit and meet and greet with the MVP of the 1988 World Series, Orel Hershiser. Additionally, participating fans will receive a 1988 World Series themed pregame tour with team historian Mark Langill.

But that's not all! Lastly, fans will receive a Hershiser autographed baseball and a Tommy Lasorda 1988 World Series Replica Ring.

The Dodgers were underdogs heading into the 1988 World Series against the A’s but they managed to pull through and defeat Oakland in five games. The biggest moment from this series was the famous Kirk Gibson home run in game one off the almost un-hittable closer Dennis Eckersley.

It also featured Hershiser throwing a complete game in the close out matchup to finish off one of the greatest seasons ever by a pitcher.

It pretty hard to believe that it’s been 35 years since 1988 but this is a chance for fans to relive the experience of the team winning it all in their own stunning way.
