Dodgers Star Mookie Betts All Smiles as He Chats it Up with Corbin Carroll at World Series
As World Series Game 3 was gearing up to get underway, Dodgers star Mookie Betts was spotted all around Chase Field, albeit in street clothes.
Betts traveled to Arizona as a special correspondent for MLB social media. As part of his busy day, he met with 2023 Roberto Clemente award winner Aaron Judge and asked him a question during his media availability. Mookie also traveled to the field where he was all smiles chatting it up with Diamondbacks rookie star Corbin Carroll.
Considering the two were enemies on this very field just three weeks ago and only one week ago Mookie was already in bowling mode, some Dodgers fans were understandably vocal online.
Still, it's nice to see the likely 2023 NL MVP runner up back on the baseball diamond and showcasing some personality for Major League Baseball. Surely he'd rather be playing against the Texas Rangers tonight than patrolling the concourse in a button up t-shirt and slacks, but it wasn't in the cards this season.
