Dodgers Trade Target Tyler Glasnow Gets High Praise From MLB Network Insider

The Dodgers would be a serious threat with the addition of Glasnow, according to this MLB insider

The Los Angeles Dodgers are not done improving their team. Yes, L.A. now has the best player in the sport in Shohei Ohtani, but the work is not done. The Dodgers still have a ways to go to be serious World Series favorites.

The Boys in Blue are in serious talks to acquire a starting-level ace in Rays' starting pitcher Tyler Glasnow. The Dodgers and Glasnow have been linked to each other for the past couple of days, and it seems like it's a matter of 'when' more than 'if' he'll be a Dodger.

If he indeed lands in L.A., the Boys in Blue will get precisely what they need — a frontline starting pitcher. And MLB insider for the MLB Network, Jon Morosi, would be a big fan of the potential move.

“This is a postseason, World Series focused team. And if they get Glasnow, his stuff… is some of the best pure stuff on the planet. He is the kind of pitcher that helps you get to and win a World Series.”

Glasnow to L.A. would make them a serious force to be reckoned with. The 30-year-old is among the best at making batters miss. When he's right, no one is better at making opposing batters look silly than the righty.

The former fifth-round pick is coming off a 10-7 season with a 3.53 ERA that saw him throw his most innings ever in a season with 120. Glasnow and L.A. look like a match made in heaven, and if what Morosi says is true, the 29 other teams better watch out.
