Last year, Dodgers infielder Hanser Alberto became somewhat of a two-way player. While he was no Shohei Ohtani, he was arguably the next closest thing.

That may be a bit of a stretch, but Alberto, who made 159 plate appearances for LA, also became the team's blowout reliever.

Alberto made an incredible 10 appearances as a reliever, sporting a not-too-shabby 4.09 ERA in 11 innings. He even had one strikeout, which you can watch a hilarious video about here from Doug McKain of Dodgers Nation.

However, Alberto signed a minor league deal with the Chicago White Sox in the offseason, and earned himself a spot on the Opening Day roster.

While he hasn't made a plate appearance for the team yet, on Monday, he made his first appearance out of the bullpen.

Alberto pitched 0.2 innings in the team's blowout loss to the San Francisco Giants, allowing two hits and, somehow, getting another strikeout. Here's a video of the punchout.

Alberto should earn himself an at-bat sooner or later, but it is pretty funny to see him right back in his role as the blowout closer. At this rate, he's going to make more appearances as a pitcher for the White Sox than as a batter — but for his sake, that'll hopefully change soon.
