Stop me if you've heard this one before but the Atlanta Braves have once again designated former Dodger fan favorite Charlie Culberson for assignment. This is the second time this season Culbie has been cut from the 40 man roster.

The move came as the Braves acquired infielder Nicky Lopez from the Royals.

Culberson has barely been used in any capacity this season, only collecting one hit in one at-bat with Atlanta.

It's been a while since he donned the Dodgers uniform but fans seem to be welcome to a reunion with the former postseason hero.

Culberson is most known for his home run in Vin Scully's final home game, a walk-off blast that propelled the Dodgers to their fifth straight NL West division win.

Additionally, he came through in the 2017 World Series, when he hit a home run against the Houston Astros as Corey Seager was dealing with injuries.

Since leaving LA, it's been rough for Culberson. This year, he opted out of his contract with the Tampa Bay Rays to sign a minor league deal with Atlanta, but hasn't really gotten the playing time he was hoping for.

Now, he's heading back to waivers, hoping to either latch on with a new team, or find himself right back with Atlanta in a few days.

Do you want the Dodgers to bring back Culberson?
