The biggest question mark behind the free agency of Shohei Ohtani has finally been answered! We now know the name of Ohtani's dog!

Ohtani announced that the name of his dog is a Japanese word, but his American name is "Decoy". This is perfect for Ohtani and directly reflects the kind of personality that he has.

For weeks, people have been wondering what the name of his dog has been. The dog was first seen as Ohtani was accepting his MVP award, but the name was never revealed.

There were some rumors going around that the name of the dog would give a hint to where Ohtani was considering signing this offseason. That turned out to be a lie, but made for some fun stories along the way.

Ohtani and his dog are now members of the Dodgers' family for the next 10 years. This is what fans have been waiting for, and the front office delivered.

The two-way superstar will bring a new element to this Dodgers team, both on and off the field. His marketability, combined with the brand of the Dodgers themselves, will sell themselves.

While he won't be pitching in 2024, his bat will be a key to the success of the Dodgers. He will then return to the mound in 2025, getting back to his two-way abilities.

It's Sho Time Los Angeles, and the fun is just getting started.
