With the All-Star break over, that means the MLB trade deadline is just around the corner, marking a pivotal moment of the year when the rumors go wild. Today we're looking at a potential partnership with the Dodgers and White Sox who appear to be a perfect match on paper.

The Dodgers are in a serious pennant chase and are looking to add pitching and maybe a bat before August 1st. Of the teams that look most likely to sell, the Chicago White Sox have a number of guys that have been great in the past and are in dire need of a change of scenery.

The list includes starting pitchers Lucas Giolito and Dylan Cease, bullpen pieces Kendall Graveman and Joe Kelly, as well as shortstop Tim Anderson, among others.

Given the Dodgers' various needs, any of these players could provide valuable upgrades to the team.

Over on DodgersNation.com's YouTube channel, insider and analyst Doug McKain broke down numerous potential trade scenarios between Los Angeles and Chicago, exploring how such deals could elevate the Dodgers into genuine World Series favorites.

The biggest name on the Sox that is highlighted is former All-Star starting pitcher Lucas Giolito. A native of Los Angeles, Giolito has long looked like a perfect fit to come home and pitch for the Dodgers. He grew up going to Dodger Stadium and things would be full circle if could find a way to make it his work address as well.

He's a free agent after the season and is pitching on a reasonable contract despite his years of success at the big league level. The Dodgers would only be on the hook for the remainder of his $10.4 million salary and could put themselves in position to re-sign the soon-to-be 29-year-old right-hander.

Beyond Giolito, the White Sox have a number of intriguing relievers that could be a boost for the LA bullpen and two time all-star Tim Anderson who could rediscover himself outside of the southside.
