The Cleveland Guardians dropped the season opener to the Seattle Mariners after a disappointing offensive show. The nice thing about baseball though is they have a chance to make it right 24 hours later.

They're going to need to come back strong if they want to even up their very early season record after only recording four hits on Thursday night.

This is the lineup that the Guardians will use in game two of their series against the Mariners.

Will Brennan will not start tonight so that Oscar Gonzalez can get some reps in the field and at-bats The one surprise in this lineup is that Josh Naylor will be the designated hitter even with left-hander Robbie Ray on the mound.

Naylor struggled a lot against left-handed pitchers in 2022 with an AVG of just .173 and an OBP of .276. We'll see how this decision pans out.
