1.) Tribe Scoring Without the Long Ball

In the fourth inning of Wednesday's game, the Cleveland Indians managed to put together a four run inning which gave Cleveland an early 4-0 lead over the Tigers.

That was only the second time in the 2018 season that the Indians managed to score four runs or more in an inning outside of a four run inning they put together against the Seattle Mariners when Yonder Alonso hit a grand slam. The Indians have also struggled to score more than 4 runs in a game so far this year and on Wednesday marked only their fourth time in twelve games.

The Indians managed to score without hitting a home run in the fourth inning and did it in a very rare way that has not been seen to often this season; Cleveland put together an inning that saw the team produce six singles, four runs, and a double steal from Jose Ramirez and Michael Brantley.

Indians only managed to score 10 runs in their first 5 home games before tonight.

Carrasco also extended his career-long win streak to nine games after tonight's start. This streak dates back to August 27,2017, during the streak Carlos has gone 9-0 with an ERA of 1.92, giving up just 15 earned runs in 70.1 innings pitched over a span of 10 starts.

The Indians right handed pitcher has also won 12 consecutive decisions against AL Central opponents; which is the second-longest streak against a single division, behind Zach Greinke.
