On Monday the Indians stated that the starting pitcher Carlos Carrasco will throw two bullpen sessions for the team on Wednesday and again this weekend. According to Zack Meisel of The Athletic who had the following tweet that came from manager Terry Francona.

The Indians obviously don't have a high demand of bringing Carrasco back in the rotation, mainly due to the fact of him being diagnosed with Leukemia back in May of this year and not missing any playing time until June 3. Carrasco pitched a whole month while having Leukemia.

Carrasco had a record of 4-6 through 12 starts this year, he had one complete game, pitched in 65 innings, walked 11, and struck out 79 hitters, while having an ERA of 4.98.

Carrasco has come a long way, along with the team as a whole since telling teammates throughout the organization that he had the disease. Carlos would be a great sight to see in the Indians rotation or even in the bullpen but any progress is great progress at this point for Carrasco.
