WATCH: Guardians' Bo Naylor Goes Deep Against Hometown Team
The Naylor family has been gifted plenty of special moments this season with both Bo and Josh playing on the same team. Josh had the best seat in the house to watch his little brother get his first Big League hit and they would hit homers in the same inning later in the season.
The family added another memory to that list on Friday night.
The Cleveland Guardians traveled to Canada to take on the Blue Jays for a weekend series. Both Naylors are from the Toronto area and call it their hometown. The younger Naylor even played for Team Canda during last spring's World Baseball Classic.
Bo said before the game that he secured a number of tickets for family and friends so they could watch him play and he made sure to put on a show for those that made it out. Naylor gave the Guardians their first run of the game as he put a jolt in a pitch from Chris Bassitt as it landed over the right field fence.
Bo couldn't help but crack a smile as he rounded the bases and looked up at one of the few sections in the Rogers Centre rocking red in a sea of Blue Jay blue.
Not many players can say they hit a homer in their hometown, but Bo can.
