To find out what the oddsmakers of Las Vegas think of the Miami Marlins chances this season, we took to FanDuel Sportsbook and looked at their chances to win across multiple categories.

To win the NL East

The Marlins start the season with fourth-best odds to win the NL East, currently sitting at +2700. The clear favorite is the Atlanta Braves and the only team sitting below the Marlins is the rebuilding Washington Nationals. The Marlins have never won the East, only ever making the playoffs via the wild card round.

To win the National League

If their odds to win the division didn't make it clear enough, Las Vegas doesn't have much faith in the Marlins to make a run this season. They have the twelfth-best odds to win the National League, sitting at +4500. There is a big drop-off between them and the 13th team in the standings, the Pittsburgh Pirates, who sit at +4500. The favorites to win the NL are the big spenders of the offseason, the Los Angeles Dodgers, who sit at an enticing +165.

To win the World Series

The Miami Marlins haven't won it all since 2003, the odds of them breaking the drought sit at +9000. There are only seven teams in the MLB who have longer odds to bring home the trophy. The favorites are the same as the NL favorites, the Dodgers and the Braves.

Individual Awards

Luis Arráez is the best bet for individual awards for the Marlins this season. He currently sits with the second-best odds to finish at the Regular Season Hits Leader for 2024 at +800, only behind Ronald Acuña Jr. He has the 17th-best odds to win the NL MVP at +7000.

Jesús Luzardo and Eury Pérez sit right next to each other in the Cy Young race at 13th and 14th, +3000 and +3500 respectively.

Max Meyer is the rookie to watch for Rookie of the Year with the Marlins, though it is a longshot at +4000.

Lastly, in his second season as Marlins manager, Skip Schumaker sits at +1800 to defend last year's Manager of the Year. Those are the 13th-best odds in the NL.
