The Miami Marlins would absolutely LOVE to get a win today.

After an 0-7 start following two home series against teams with poor finishes last season in the Pittsburgh Pirates (76-86) and Los Angeles Angels (73-89), Miami dropped the first game of their road trip to St. Louis to the Cardinals on Thursday, making the Marlins MLB’s last winless team.

Starter Trevor Rogers is on the bump for Miami today.

Lineups for the Miami Marlins and St. Louis Cardinals on Saturday, April 6th

Here's how the Marlins will line up for the contest:

2B Luis Arraez
DH Josh Bell
1B Jake Burger
LF Bryan De La Cruz
CF Jazz Chisholm Jr.
SS Tim Anderson
RF Avisaíl García
3B Emmanuel Rivera
C Nick Fortes

Rogers is making his second start of the year, having pitched five innings with six strikeouts but four runs allowed on seven hits against the Pittsburgh Pirates. Only three Cardinals hitters have seen Rogers; third baseman Nolan Arenado is 1-5, backup shortstop Brandon Crawford is 1-3, and first baseman Paul Goldschmidt is 1-4 with an RBI against Rogers.

Here's how the Cardinals will line up for game two of the series:

LF Brandon Donovan
1B Paul Goldschmidt
DH Willson Contreras
3B Nolan Arenado
C Ivan Herrera
2B Nolan Gorman
RF Jordan Walker
SS Masyn Winn
CF Victor Scott II

Starting for the Cardinals is lefty Steven Matz. Making his second start of the year, Mats went 5.1 innings against the Los Angeles Dodgers last week, allowing only two runs on five hits to a potent LA lineup. Matz struck out only three Dodgers, walking two and hitting a batter. There are very few Marlins who have hits off of Matz, with the high-water mark being Bryan De La Cruz’s 2-2 with an RBI, followed by the .500 marks of Nick Gordon (2-4) and Emmanuel Rivera (1-2). Today’s DH, Josh Bell, is hoping to improve on a 1-12 mark in his career against Matz.
