The New York Mets already have made a handful of moves this offseason and it sounds like there could be more on the way.

New York had an underwhelming season that year and has gone back to the drawing board. The Mets brought in former Milwaukee Brewers executive David Stearns to be the club's president of baseball operations and he has had the tough task of turning the organization around.

The Mets have done this so far this offseason by bringing in players with upside on cheaper, prove-it deals. New York may be close to done adding this offseason but still is looking to add to the bullpen according to Stearns, as transcribed by SNY's Phillip Martinez.

"While the starting rotation seems to be sewn up, Stearns said that they remain active in a number of markets but the bullpen is an area of need the first-year Mets GM is looking to improve," Martinez said. “'There’s no perfect team and we’re not perfect,” he said. “We’re going to stay involved across the board. Specifically, we’re looking at the pen, that’s not a surprise to anyone. Finding ways to solidify our bullpen makes sense.'"

What's next for the Mets? It sounds like they want to add to the bullpen and luckily there still are some intriguing options out there.

If New York wants to swing for the fences, superstar fireballer Josh Hader still is out there but he is looking for a record-breaking deal. Aside from Hader, there still are some solid hurlers available like Aroldis Chapman, Wandy Peralta, Adam Ottavino, and a handful of others.
