Look: New York Mets Update Uniform Sponsor Patch

The Mets, who introduced NewYork-Presbyterian as their uniform sponsor this season, have scaled down the sleeve patch and changed it to team colors.

The Mets, like many teams in baseball this year, introduced a uniform sponsor to be displayed on their sleeve.

When New York announced the sponsor as NewYork-Presbyterian and unveiled the patches, many noticed how large and distracting it was.

Almost immediately, team owner Steve Cohen said the team would change it to be more Mets color oriented.

With the beginning of a new home stand, New York has done just that.

With jersey sponsors becoming the new norm, it will take time to adjust to seeing them on the field on a daily basis. However, with it now smaller and Mets colors, it is far less of an eye sore than the previous one.
