The New York Mets carry some momentum going into their four-game road trip to Atlanta to face the Braves, which starts on Monday.

The Mets (3-6) will start the series with their new acquisition, Julio Teheran, making his first start for the team.

The Mets beat the Cincinnati Reds, 3-1, on Sunday as shortstop Francisco Lindor broke out of his slump after hitting a double and a solo home run to help fuel Sean Manaea’s first win on the hill since he joined the team as a free agent in the offseason.

The Mets took the series from the Reds, winning Friday’s opener, 3-2, and then losing Saturday’s game, 9-6.

Pete Alonso leads the Mets with two home runs, while Francisco Alvarez has the team’s best batting average at .333. He and Brett Baty each have nine hits to lead the team. Baty also leads the team with five RBI.

Manaea leads the team with a 0.82 ERA, while Edwin Diaz has saved two of the Mets’ three victories.
