New York Mets' Starting Pitcher Drawing Trade Interest

It might be a quick tenure with the New York Mets.
According to Andy Martino of SNY, starting pitcher Jose Quintana is drawing trade interest as multiple teams are scouting him.
Scouts were on hand to watch Quintana's rehab assignment, as well as his first start as a Met on Thursday.
In his Mets debut, Quintana went five innings, allowing six hits, two runs and striking out three batters.
Per Martino, scouts said the lefty looked sharper in his first outing, as opposed to his rehab assignment.
While Quintana could be another trade chip, he is under control for another season after signing a two-year, $26 million deal with the Mets in the offseason. The Mets would be creating a hole in their rotation for next year if they deal Quintana.
Quintana missed the first four months of the season after undergoing rib surgery in March.
Now that the southpaw is back, he will get another start or two to show what he has before the trade deadline.
So far so good in start No. 1 for the crafty veteran, who is considered a great clubhouse presence and fiery competitor.
In addition to Quintana, Mark Canha and Brooks Raley are two other potential trade chips that are under team control next year. The Mets will have to decide whether they're better off acquiring prospects or keeping these veterans around to help the team next season.
Beyond this trio, David Robertson and Tommy Pham are having strong seasons and are playing on expiring deals. It seems like a no brainer that this duo will get traded if the Mets sell.
