In this story:

Have a year, Ronny Mauricio.

On Saturday, the New York Mets' top prospect crushed his 20th home run of the season to put him in the 20/20 club on the year, going along with his 20 stolen bases.

This is the second straight season, in which Mauricio has joined the 20/20 club.

Mauricio has certainly had a strong offensive campaign this year. In 107 games, the 22-year-old is slashing .285/.335/.488 with a .823 OPS, 20 homers and 65 RBIs.

However, he struggled defensively after the Mets opted to try him out at second base and left field, so that he would have a position if called up to the big-leagues. His natural position is shortstop, which is blocked by Francisco Lindor.

With the minor league season winding down, It's possible that Mauricio could get the call-up to the major leagues in September. But the Mets have cited specific offensive and defensive benchmarks that they still want to see him accomplish before a promotion.

Mauricio is the Mets' No. 4 ranked prospect in their farm system. If he doesn't get called up this year, he will likely make his major league debut at some point next season.

Mauricio is doing his part with the bat, but he will have to prove that he can play a defensive position in the big-leagues.
