The Baltimore Orioles look to continue adding to their young core next season. Whether that be in free agency, trades, or in-house promotions, the Orioles are going to find ways to get better in 2024.

Of the available possibilities, there isn't one that the fans are more excited about than Jackson Holliday. The 2022 first-overall pick has had a ridiculous start to his MILB career, proving to be well worth the first-overall selection.

Holliday is currently the No. 1 prospect in baseball and has a real chance to make the big league roster next season. In fact, Jake Rill of MLB.com believes Holliday has a chance to make it out of camp.

"All eyes will be on the 20-year-old Holliday in Spring Training, as MLB Pipeline’s No. 1 overall prospect will have a legitimate chance to break camp with the big league team. In fact, general manager Mike Elias said during the Winter Meetings there’s “definitely a very strong possibility” that Holliday could make the Orioles’ Opening Day roster," writes Rill.

"Holliday, the No. 1 overall pick in the 2022 Draft, had a meteoric rise through Baltimore’s farm system in ‘23, playing at all four full-season Minor League affiliates and finishing the season with an 18-game stint at Triple-A Norfolk... It should happen in 2024 -- and maybe even on Opening Day on March 28 at Camden Yards."

If the 20-year-old continues to swing it the way that he has in the minors, it's going to be impossible for Baltimore to keep him down.
