Which Baltimore Orioles Player Has the Best Hair Flow?
The Baltimore Orioles were good for a lot of reasons in 2023. They had a deep lineup, a solid rotation, a shutdown bullpen and top-notch fielding, all of which is quantifiable.
They also had great hair, and while that doesn't show up in the box score, it's still an important ingredient for any winning team.
Do the wild-haired Boston Red Sox vanquish the clean-cut New York Yankees in 2004 without their legendary hairdos? Probably not.
In any case, Orioles pitcher Kyle Bradish joined The Ryan Ripken Show on Monday to rank his top three teammates with the best hair. Given all the amazing flow on Baltimore's roster, it proved to be a challenging task.
Bradish keeps his own hair pretty short, so you can take his rankings with a grain of salt if you'd like. But here they are.
The righty pitcher had trouble picking just one teammate for third place. He named infielder Gunnar Henderson, catcher Adley Rutschman and fellow pitcher Cole Irvin, the latter of whom received a shout-out for his mullet. That trio alone would make a pretty great top three, but Bradish still had two more teammates to pick.
In second place, Bradish had Nick Vespi -- another pitcher. Vespi didn't see much action in 2023 with only nine appearances out of the bullpen, but his hair was obviously memorable. Bradish cited Vespi's "long blonde locks" when explaining his runner-up.
And in first place (drumroll please), Bradish picked yet another pitcher. Dean Kremer got the nod, as Bradish noted how "well-maintained" his curly hair is.
Do pitchers really have the best hair? Or is Bradish just biased because he also happens to be a pitcher? That sounds like a topic for another day.
