Petco Park went into a frenzy last night in their comeback win against division rival Arizona Diamondbacks, 5-4. And no, it wasn't because of one of their many superstars; the other guys caused it.

Outfielder David Dahl and infielder Ha-Seong Kim were responsible for the Frairs' comeback win with back-to-back solo home runs. Dahl didn't waste any time with no outs and, on the second pitch, crushed one to left center to tie the game.

The Padres shortstop came up immediately and sent their fans home as he homered to deep left field. It was an excellent win for the Friars to pick up their third win of 2023, and the heroes from last night made history in the process.

Padres insider Kevin Acee said the Frairs were the first team to do this in MLB history.

“That includes the two that came at the end of last night’s game when the Padres became the first team in MLB history to walk off a win on home runs by their No. 8 and No. 9 hitters.”

Dahl came in as a pinch-hitter, while Kim was 0-3 before ending the game and sending Padres' nation into celebration mode. This shows that the Padres' are deep, and there is never a break in their lineup. When you think you could take a breath, someone on the bench punishes you and gives their team hope.

The Padres are already making history in 2023; is this a sign of future things? Padre fans are surely hoping for that.
