MLB World Reacts to Padres Trading Juan Soto to Yankees

Now batting for the New York Yankees, outfielder Juan Soto.

Late Wednesday evening, the trade to send star outfielder Juan Soto to the New York Yankees became official. It had been talked about all day and the suspense had been building while the teams worked out all the logistics. 

But now Soto is an official member of the Yankees, along with outfielder Trent Grisham. The Padres received a haul in return for their star player, but losing someone like Soto rarely gets a team fair value back.

Of course, with a trade this massive, there are going to be reactions all across the internet on social media.

With Soto now gone, the Padres front office will look at other avenues to keep this team competitive. It wasn't easy to move a player like Soto, but it was necessary for the Padres to enter into the next few years on their payroll with flexibility.
