The Padres season opener is among us as they are set to take on the Colorado Rockies tomorrow ! However, there has already been a very important change made for those planning to attend or watch the game from home.

The franchise announced that the game time has now been moved and the first pitch will be thrown at 6:30 pm PT.

The match was originally scheduled for 1:10 pm PT but due to a forecasting of heavy rain throughout the early afternoon, those in charge have determined that a night game will be better for everyone.

Petco Park is far too beautiful of a stadium to be getting drenched in, especially during the first game of the year, so we understand the thought process in this. it is unfortunate that it's a last minute change but we are just happy that the game will go on.

The Padres' stadium was recently voted as the best one in the MLB and rightfully so, fans of San Diego and opposing teams just can't get enough of it. There is not a better place for so many stars to be coming together in and tomorrow night is going to be the start of something very special.
