It's going to be a very special weekend for the San Diego Padres. They are going to make MLB history by playing official games against the San Fransisco Giants at Mexico City for the first time ever. This is what the game is all about and it's going to be amazing for those who reside in the city that will get the chance to see our superstars live.

The city has already begun preparing for these two blockbuster games as they decorate the Alfredo Harp Helu Stadium so they can welcome both franchises. San Diego's roster is also bringing a ton of their family members along for the ride so they can experience the travel with them.

They have also decided to build a statue outside of the arena for Padres superstar Juan Soto and let's just say... it's hard to tell exactly which Friars player it is without looking at the jersey.

It is the thought that counts at the end of the day and considering the fact that Juan Soto is one of the premier young stars in the league, this was a very nice gesture from the officials.

However, the overall sculpting for his face is very questionable. Even if they were going for a cartoon look, it's hard for many fans to tell it is him.

Speaking of the fans, they've been having a field day on Twitter ripping apart the final product and they believe it's super disrespectful to Soto.

Other fans also pointed out how Soto already has enough on his plate with his batting struggles.

Let's hope he takes any frustration out from this on the Giants and has a stellar weekend.
