In game number 156 on the season, the 81st and final home game of the year, Padres star right fielder Fernando Tatis Jr. finally robbed one. He stole a home run back from the stands with an impressive, all out and perfectly timed leap at the wall.

Here's a look at the moment he's been waiting for all season long.

Air Nando or "Airtis", as he was called by reporter Allison Edmonds needed every inch of his jump and his glove to keep the ball in the park and keep the shutout intact at the time.

As MLB.com's AJ Cassavell noted in a post on X.com, Fernando has been waiting for a robbery opportunity all season long. He spoke about how it was the one thing he wanted as a new full time outfielder as the Padres played the Dodgers on ESPN's Sunday Night Baseball last month. Now, for the final home game of the season, he got his moment and he capped it with a dance.

Here's one more look at the highlight moment on the scoreboard.

The Padres defeated the Cardinals on a final of 12-2 keeping their razor thin playoff chances alive.
