The Los Angeles Dodgers quite literally shifted around their entire pitching rotation ahead of their weekend series against the San Diego Padres to ensure that their best guys would be taking the mound.

They decided to bet on Clayton Kershaw to ensure that their Friday night outing would be solid and that the Friars, who won four out of their last five games leading up to that, would not be able to see any early success at the plate.

Well, Fernando Tatis Jr. and Ha-Seong Kim sent him back to the dugout after four innings.

El Niño now has four home runs in his 20 at-bats against Kershaw in his career and continues to prove to the world that he is indeed back. You love to see him comfortable and celebrating again in one of the Padres' biggest series yet.

As for Kershaw, this is pretty surprising. He's easily been the Dodgers' best pitcher thus far into the year and is coming off of a NL Pitcher of the Month award.

However, Tatis did indeed say that he loves playing against the Dodgers and was super excited for the rivalry to continue on.

Phil Pickford relieved Kershaw following his early struggles so hopefully this hot streak continues for San Diego and they raise his 3.95 ERA.
