Fernando Tatis Jr. has really never had a peaceful trip to Dodger Stadium. For one reason or another, he always hears it louder there than he does at any other stadium from the crowd and it's mostly boo's raining down at him.

But we all know that Nando is all about killing them with kindness now and no matter what angry fans yell at him whenever he steps up to the plate or positions himself in the outfield, he just smiles and waves with the occasional dance. He hadn't faced off against the Dodgers since 2021 before this season and it's looking like maybe, just maybe, LA has found someone else to heckle on the Friars.

Manny Machado has come a long way ever since he joined the San Diego Padres and majority of the MLB world has recognized just how much he's matured into the heart of the clubhouse and the leader.

However, this wasn't always the case. He was a member of the Dodgers before becoming Friar faithful and had some questionable moments there that ultimately led to him leaving after just half a season. Machado was very vocal after this and even went on to say that he'd bet his entire contract that the Padres would win a World Series before LA.

So yes, Dodgers fans do not have the greatest memories of Manny and considering that he also played a huge role in knocking their 111-win team out of the postseason in 2022, we can see why it's being reported that they have been super loud whenever he steps up to the plate in this series.

"Jeff Sanders wrote about the Campusano surgery in his pregame notebook (

here

). The lead item in that notebook was about Tatis and his return to Dodger Stadium. Tatis was booed, perhaps more vociferously than in the past. But those boos were not as loud nor as sustained as what Dodgers fans rain down on Machado every time his name is announced."

Let's see how this energy plays out the rest of the weekend!
