Padres News: ESPN Made Glaring Error in Asking Fans for Questions for Fernando Tatis Jr
Padres star Fernando Tatis Jr has had a tough couple of seasons when it comes to the headlines.
Multiple hidden motorcycle accidents. A wrist injury. A PED suspension... for the most part this season, he's done an excellent job staying under the radar and letting his game do the talking for him.
But fans have a way of never forgetting things.
ESPN must've forgot about that when picking who to welcome into the broadcast during a Sunday Night Baseball game against the rival Dodgers.
As part of the segment, the play by play announcer Karl Ravech asked fans watching the national broadcast to send in questions using the hash tag "AskSNB."
It was quickly trolled and that was painfully noticeable with the lack of quality questions being asked to Fernando.
User RB on Twitter screens hosted some of the cruel questions submitted to the broadcast.
ESPN managed through it well and pivoted to different conversation while leaving the hashtag behind.
You can't win 'em all but Tatis is doing his part to put his past behind him and focus on the now and the future.
