It's never pretty when your mother has to get involved.

In this story:

Fernando Tatis Jr. hasn't even played in his first official game with the San Diego Padres and already has opposers holding his past against him.

It's even worse considering that the opposer here is a fellow baseball player, Kade McClure of the Sacramento River Cats to be exact. El Niño has been laser focused in Arizona as he has been preparing to make his season debut with the Friars late this month.

He's taken this process a step further recently as he has suited up in two games for the Padres' AAA affiliate, the El Paso Chihuahua's. In these matches, he is starting to showcase something we all remember him for: his keen ability to rake. Tatis hit his first AAA home run at the hands of McClure and he obviously wasn't too happy about it considering his reaction on Twitter after the game.

Considering that McClure has been associated with the MLB and their minor leagues for more than five years now, this was an incredibly immature post to make.

The mother of Fernando Tatis Jr. certainly agrees and she took to her Instagram page on Thursday morning to give her thoughts on the situation and simply alluded that McClure was just looking to gain attention off of her son's name.

"Fernando Tatis Jr’s mom has spoken related to minor league pitcher Cade McCure and his tweet directed to FTJ last night"

Her caption: "In Spanish, this issue called Envy"

Anybody that has ever played sports knows that one's mother never gets involved unless she feels like she absolutely has to. Tatis will continue to only moving forward like he has been this past year.
